BrendanJones
Offshore racing, British Columbia
00 / Profile
Brendan studies civil engineering at Queen's, but his real education has come from three unrelated arenas: coordinating live construction on EllisDon's Oakridge Park redevelopment, building AI platforms from scratch through his own company, Orca Jones, and racing sailboats offshore, where the margin for error is measured in seconds and boat lengths. Three different boards, one game.
The vocabulary changes and the failure mode does not. A trade sequence, a product release and nine legs around Vancouver Island are all the same shape of problem: too many moving parts, a date that will not move, and a real cost to being wrong. What differs is what breaks first.
Two practices
Project Management
Site coordination for EllisDon on Oakridge Park, a $400 million contract inside a multi-billion dollar redevelopment. Trades, drawings, inspections, and the daily record that keeps a job that size honest.
AI Consulting
Orca Jones is where Brendan builds AI platforms from scratch, for real estate teams, small businesses, and students. Three products shipped so far, with client work running alongside them.
